When my daughter was born some time ago, I thought, yes, she is fortunate to be born in a part of the world without war, hunger and poverty, and where there is education for everyone and a good health system.
And yet, at the same time I knew that, on the other side of the world, there were children that were desperately in need of support. While my little baby was lucky to be born in the right environment, I thought: a lucky child here, an unprivileged child there — how might we achieve more of a balance?
I searched for an organisation that would help me help others.
With World Vision I found just that. I have not regretted a single day since I first joined them decades ago. Sometimes it can be really that easy to do something, to make a difference. Please visit www.worldvision.org for further information.
